Description
The Scottish Government and Fife Council want to create an employability system that is more flexible, joined-up and responsive to the needs of the people using the services. To get this right we need to hear from people who use, have used, or will use these services, from staff and those in work. This will help Fife Council and partners ensure people get the right support at the right time and in the right way.
No One Left Behind (NOLB) is a new way of working with this in mind. The most important part of the planning and design process will be people. We want to hear from a range of different voices to understand the best way to use the money available and to improve how services work together. Every person's view matters.
There are over 30 different organisations providing employment support in Fife, and thousands of people use these services every year to get support into work. But we do know there are many people that do not get the support they want or need
The challenge is knowing what matters to people when deciding what is important to fund and how it should be delivered.
To help this Fife Voluntary Action are partnering with Fife Centre for Equalities, Fife Council and a team of volunteers to host a series of Collaborative Conversations an online survey and the debate space below.
If you would like the chance to participate in one of our online Collaborative Conversations, then click on the link https://www.fva.org/NOLB.asp and you can register at the date that suits you best.
You can also take part in the online survey which is available at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NOLBSurvey
If you would like to carry on the conversation you can also do this in the No One Left Behind debate space below.
It is important to us that we gather as many different perspectives as possible to inform our discussions. For this reason we ask you to respect the views of others, we won’t always agree but everyone’s experience is valid.
We all have feelings and we never know what is happening in other people’s lives. With this in mind we will remove comments which are factually incorrect, unkind or inconsiderate of other people’s feelings.
If you would like to be kept up to date with the No One Left Behind Programme of work please contact Pegs at info@fva.org
